North Hills Community Baptist Church

North Hills Community Baptist Church wanted to use a website to connect with people outside its community, especially people new to the area. They also wanted to communicate with their current members and other organizations, to enhance their already vibrant community without incurring significant expense.

What We Did

  • Worked with a committee from the church to articulate their image and develop a matching indentity: we chose to use a drawing by a parishioner of the church facility as the central element
  • Integrated content management tools to allow the heads of church activities to post announcements directly without taking time from the church staff
  • Trained church staff to update and maintain the site
  • Developed letterhead and business cards to reinforce the updated image

Results

The NHCBC has used the site continually for over two years, as an online complement to its bulletin and other forms of cummunication. In addition to information about the church, visitors can find an online calendar, volunteer schedules, and past sermons by Paston Tim Spring.

The site helps the NHCBC express and build upon its traditional values in a forward-thinking style.

Visit the site to see how a website can be a valued resource for a vibrant community.
